HUL's very birth is a story of growth powered
by purpose and values.

It goes back to the days of Unilever founders in the 19th century, who saw the need for cleanliness and hygiene and worked to offer and popularise a simple yet effective way of improving people's lives by launching one of the world's first purposeful brands, Sunlight Soap. What took root back then was a business with a social mission, and to date, we have continually strived to do more good for our planet and society through our purpose driven brands and people and sustainability initiatives across the length and breadth of India.
