Safety at work

We proactively monitor and assess the health and safety of our people.  Our Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) governance is driven by the Central Safety, Health, and Environment Committee, which is chaired by our MD & CEO.

Our commitment to safety goes beyond our offices. For instance, under our Suraksha sab ke saath program, we have deployed driver management centres across our factories and depots where drivers are trained on safe driving behaviours.

Progressive policies

With equitable policies addressing various aspects of an individual’s life, we ensure everyone feels supported. For instance, we introduced a foster/kinship caregiver policy, enhanced our secondary caregiver leave, and expanded our daycare tie-ups. In fact, all our parental policies – be it birth, adoptive, or surrogate - are gender-neutral, and same-sex partners are included wherever applicable. These initiatives reflect our dedication to providing essential support, enabling our employees to thrive both professionally and personally.

Introducing Electric Vehicles in our distribution network

Furthering our approach of taking the customer along and driving innovation towards our net-zero ambition in our value chain, we have introduced EV's in our distribution network.

Today, our last mile network is powered by over 100 EVs.  We have a long, long way to go. But our journey so far motivates us, empowering us to navigate the uncharted terrain confidently. We will also continue to harness and explore Bio CNG, Hydrogen, and other green energy options as a fuel for our distribution network.
