What is good for India is good for HUL

Sustainability is at the heart of our business strategy. With clear goals across Climate, Nature, Plastics and Livelihoods, and a strong commitment to Human Rights, we focus where we can make the greatest impact. Our actions align with India's priorities while contributing to Unilever's global sustainability ambitions.

Sustainability in our operations, value chain and beyond

Across our operations, we are transitioning away from fossil fuels to renewable energy. All manufacturing sites are coal free, with 100% renewable electricity through solar, wind and IREC certified green power. Energy efficiency and site upgrades continue to reduce our GHG footprint.

Our factories set benchmarks in sustainability, with five WEF recognised 4IR Lighthouse sites. We are also strengthening climate and water stewardship across sites, alongside decarbonising logistics through efficient loading and low emission transport.
